Procurement logistics that keeps your plant supplied

Your suppliers deliver to our warehouse near your plant. We check every delivery and store it. Then we send your plant what it needs when production needs it.

Why plants wait for their materials

Most of the delays start between your suppliers and your line.

  • What goes wrong: A supplier's truck runs late and your line stands idle for the shift.

What we do: Your materials wait in our warehouse near your plant. We deliver them before each shift.

  • What goes wrong: Suppliers deliver when it suits them and stock piles up on your plant floor.

What we do: They deliver to us instead. Your plant gets only what the next shifts need.

  • What goes wrong: You pay for materials long before your line uses them.

What we do: Your suppliers can keep their stock with us. They bill you when it leaves for your plant.

  • What goes wrong: Bad material reaches the line mixed in with good stock.

What we do: We hold every new delivery apart until your quality team passes it.

  • What goes wrong: Rejected material goes back with no proof and the supplier disputes your debit note.

What we do: We send it back with a record of what was wrong. Your debit note has proof behind it.

  • What goes wrong: Your raw material stock lives in a spreadsheet nobody trusts.

What we do: You see your stock and every delivery on one screen.

Your suppliers deliver to our warehouse

Your suppliers send raw and packing materials to our warehouse near your plant instead of to your gate. Our trucks collect from any supplier that cannot deliver. We also clear your imports at the port and bring them in.

  • Every delivery checked against your purchase order
  • Shortages and damage recorded at the dock with photos
  • What arrived shows on the platform for your team
Quality check

Held until your quality team passes it

New deliveries wait in a marked area away from the rest of your stock. Your quality team inspects them there or tells us what to check for. Nothing goes into stock or on to your plant until it passes.

  • New deliveries kept apart until passed
  • Supplier test certificates filed with each delivery
  • Rejected goods set aside with photos and a record
Storage

Stored the way each material needs

Steel coils, bags of granules, drums, paper reels and cartons all need different care. We give each one the right place off the floor and away from damp. A supplier's own stock stays marked as theirs until your plant takes it.

  • Kept dry, off the floor and out of the sun
  • Every item traceable to its supplier and order
  • Supplier stock kept apart until you use it
Plant feeding

  • The right papers with every load
Returns

Rejects back to suppliers and unused stock back to us

Rejected goods go back to the supplier with a record of what was wrong. Material your plant did not use comes back to our warehouse. We check it and put it back in stock.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is procurement logistics?
It is the work of getting what you buy from your suppliers into production. Your raw and packing materials come to our warehouse near your plant. We check them, store them and send your plant what it needs when it needs it. Rejected and unused material comes back through us too.
How is procurement logistics different from inbound logistics?
The two overlap. Inbound logistics covers any goods coming into a business. Procurement logistics is the part that serves production. It moves raw materials, packing material and parts from your suppliers to your plant.
What does feeding the plant mean?
Your plant keeps only what it is about to use. We hold the rest nearby. We send the next load of every material to your plant's stores before each shift or each day. We work from your production plan or from the requests your plant sends. Your team takes it from the stores to the line.
Can our suppliers keep their stock with you until we use it?
Yes. Your supplier sends its stock to our warehouse and it stays theirs while it waits. We send it over when your plant calls for it. Your supplier then bills you for what left us. So you pay for material only when you use it. Both of you see the same record.
How does GST work for a supplier's stock in your warehouse?
Your supplier adds our warehouse to its GST registration as an additional place of business. A supplier based in another state needs a registration in our warehouse's state. The stock stays on the supplier's books while it sits with us. The supplier raises a tax invoice to you when your plant takes it. An e-way bill goes with the load where one is needed.
Do we need to add your warehouse to our GST registration?
Yes, for the stock with us that is yours. Add our warehouse as an additional place of business. Then you can take the input tax credit on materials delivered there. We give you the details you need.
What happens when our quality team rejects a delivery?
We keep it apart so it never mixes with good stock. We photograph it and record what was wrong. Then we send it back to your supplier with the right papers. You get the record to back your debit note.
Which raw materials can you store?
We store steel and other metals, solar panels and parts, plastics and polymers, chemicals and mineral powders, paper and board, food and beverage inputs, textile inputs, packing material, components and parts, and rubber. Each kind gets the storage it needs. We read each chemical's safety data sheet before it comes in.
How do you know what our plant needs next?
Share your production plan with us or send a request for each delivery. It can come by email or straight from SAP, Tally or another ERP. We plan the picking and the trucks around it.
Can you bring imported materials to our plant?
Yes. We clear them at the port and bring them to our warehouse or straight to your plant. Our manufacturing logistics page covers imports, duty schemes and bonded plants.
Where are your warehouses?
We have warehouses in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and many smaller cities. Choose the one closest to your plant. Our network page shows them all.
How is procurement logistics priced?
You pay for the space or pallets you use, for handling by the pallet or unit, and for each delivery to your plant. There is nothing to build and no minimum commitment.
