Why brands ship by sea with us

  1. One team from the ship to your door

We book the freight, clear customs and run the trucks. When something changes, you make one call.

  2. Containers you can follow

You see each container on our platform, from the port it leaves to the port it lands.

  5. Storage when you need it

Your goods can wait in our warehouses across India. We send them on when you are ready.

Freight, customs, trucks and storage come on one bill. You pay only for what you use.

What does an ocean freight forwarder do?
A forwarder books space for your goods on a ship and gets the papers ready. We do that too. Our customs team also clears your goods, and our trucks and warehouses take them on. So you deal with one team for the whole trip.
What is the difference between FCL and LCL?
FCL means a full container load: the whole container carries only your goods. LCL means less than a container load: your goods share a container with other shippers' goods. FCL suits an order that fills most of a container. LCL suits a smaller order, and you pay only for your space.
Who books the ship on EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF and DAP orders?
On EXW and FOB orders, the buyer books the ship. On CFR, CIF and DAP orders, the seller books it. CIF adds basic insurance, and DAP takes the goods on to the buyer's door. So when you import on EXW or FOB, or export on CFR, CIF or DAP, we book the ship for you. On an EXW or FOB export, your buyer can hire us to book it. Either way, our customs team clears your goods and our trucks move them in India.
Can I buy from my supplier on DDP terms?
Under DDP, your supplier clears Indian customs and pays the duty. To do that, your supplier needs its own importer of record in India, so few suppliers sell into India this way. Most offer DAP instead: they bring the goods to your door, and you clear customs and pay the duty. Our customs team can do that part for you.
Which ports do you work at?
We work at every major port on both coasts, such as Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Chennai and Kolkata. We also clear containers at inland depots, such as those in Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Which countries can you ship from or to?
We book freight from any country. We bring in cargo from China, South East Asia, Japan, the US and Europe all the time. For exports, we book to every major market, such as the US, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Australia.
Can you collect the goods from my supplier abroad?
Yes. We can collect your goods from your supplier's factory and clear them for export there. Then we book the ship and bring them to you. This suits an EXW order, where every step after the factory gate is yours.
Can you arrange cargo insurance?
Yes. We arrange cargo insurance for your shipment. On a CIF export you owe your buyer basic cover, and we arrange that too. Ask us for wider cover where your goods need it.
Do you issue your own bill of lading?
Yes, on exports. We hold the licence to issue our own bill of lading, so the team that books your ship also makes your papers. Your buyer collects the goods with it at their port.
Can you clear customs for my shipment too?
Yes. We check the bill of entry or shipping bill against your invoice and packing list. Then our customs team clears your goods at the port. For imports, we arrange the duty payment with you.
What papers do I need to import by sea?
You need an Importer Exporter Code (IEC) and a GST registration. Each shipment needs its invoice, packing list and bill of lading. Some goods also need a licence or a certificate. Our trade compliance page lists them all.
Can I track my container?
Yes. Our platform shows your container at sea, with updates from the shipping line. Once it lands, you follow our truck too.
Can you store my goods after they land?
Yes. We have warehouses in every tier 1 city and most tier 2 cities. Your goods can wait there, and we send them on to your buyers when you need. Our network page shows them all.
How is ocean freight charged?
A full container has one price for the container. A shared container is charged by the space your goods take up, or by weight if they are heavy. Port, customs and truck charges come on top. We quote for the whole move before your goods ship.
How long does sea freight take?
It depends on the route and the ship. Ports nearby in Asia take days, and the US or Europe take weeks. Customs and the truck add a little more. We give you the dates when we book.
Do you handle air freight too?
Yes. We book air cargo for urgent or high-value goods, and the same team clears it at the airport. Our air freight page shows how it works.
