The rules that shape how electrical goods move

The ISI mark on wires and fans

Wires, cables, switches, breakers, sockets and fans need the ISI mark before they can be sold in India.

A BIS number on LED lights

LED lamps, fittings and drivers need a BIS registration. Customs checks it against the maker and the model.

No storing unmarked stock

Keeping listed goods without the mark is against the law, just as selling them is.

Star labels on fans

Ceiling fans carry a BEE star label. When the label rules change, old stock has to clear first.

An Indian label on retail packs

Retail packs need the maker or importer's name and the MRP. Imported packs need it before customs clearance.

E-way bills on every load

Every load above the value limit needs an e-way bill, including moves between your own warehouses.

Stock in another state

Stock you keep in a state needs your GST registration there, with our warehouse named as your place of business.

The basics

What is electrical goods logistics?
It is the work of storing and moving wires, cables, switches, fans, lights, poles and other electrical equipment. They go from the plant to dealers, shops and project sites. It covers warehousing in each state, C&F work, kits for project orders and deliveries. We run all of it as one partner.
Which electrical goods do you handle?
Building wire in coils, power and control cable on drums, switches and switchgear, lighting, fans, conduits, stands and wiring accessories. We handle heavy cable drums too, with the right lifting kit.

C&F and new states

Can you be our C&F agent for electrical goods?
Yes. As your C&F agent in a state, we hold your stock, bill your dealers and deliver to them. You get a branch warehouse without leasing one. Our B2B fulfilment page explains how dealer orders work.
In which cities can you act as our C&F agent?
We have warehouses in the metros and most large cities, including Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Guwahati. Our network page shows them all.
Can you hold extra fan stock before summer?
Yes. You can take more space before the season and give it back after. You pay only for the space you use.

Can you build kits for our project orders?
Yes. We pick the cables, wires, stands and other items on each order into one kit. We pack it, label it for its site and keep it apart until it leaves.
Can you deliver project orders to the site?
Yes. We send each kit to its site as one order, with its invoice and e-way bill. A signed proof of delivery comes back.

Cable drums

How do you store cable drums?
We stand each drum on edge, never flat, on firm and dry ground. We wedge it so it cannot roll. We lift drums by crane or forklift and never drop them off a truck.
Can you track each drum by its number and length?
Yes. Each drum has its own record: its number, its length and where it sits. The oldest drum of a cable goes out first. You see it all on your screen.

Stock, papers and imports

How do you keep fake or wrong stock out?
We scan every carton and drum against your invoice when it comes in. Anything that does not match is held apart, and we tell you.
Do we need to add your warehouse to our GST registration?
Yes. Stock you keep in a state needs your GST registration there. Our warehouse is named on it as your additional place of business.
Can you clear imported LED lights and switchgear?
Yes. We clear imports at the major ports. LED lights need a BIS registration, and many switches and breakers need the ISI mark. Customs checks both. Our import distribution page explains the steps.
Can we keep imports in bond and pay duty as we sell?
Yes. Imports can wait in a customs bonded warehouse, and you pay the duty on each lot as it leaves. Goods that need the ISI mark or a BIS registration still need it to be cleared.
