What is B2B fulfilment, and how is it different from e-commerce fulfilment?
B2B fulfilment is storing stock and delivering orders to other businesses: distributors, dealers, retailers, retail chains, quick commerce platforms and institutions. Orders come as cases and pallets rather than single parcels, they travel by part load or full truck, and each buyer has its own rules for slots, labels, shelf life and papers. E-commerce fulfilment sends single parcels to consumers by courier. We can run both from the same stock.
Do you work with distributors as well as manufacturers?
Yes. Manufacturers use us to hold stock and deliver to their distributors, retail chains, quick commerce platforms and institutions. Distributors use us to store the brands they carry and deliver to their retailers and dealers. Either way you keep the selling, the prices and the collections, and we run the warehouse, the trucks and the delivery paperwork.
Will you dispatch on FIFO, FEFO or our buyer's batch rule?
Yes. We set the rule for each product or buyer: FIFO, FEFO, a minimum shelf life, a single batch per order or a named batch. Our system chooses the batch for every pick, not the picker, so the rule holds on the busiest day. Damaged, expired and held stock is kept out of picking.
Can you keep each brand's stock separate and report it brand by brand?
Yes. Stock is recorded by brand, product, batch and expiry, so you can see what you hold of each brand you carry and send a stock statement whenever a brand asks for one.
Can we open a new town with stock in your warehouse instead of renting a godown?
Yes. Your stock sits in our warehouse in that town, added to your GST registration there, and your salesmen start selling. You pay for the space and handling you use, so a new market does not start with a lease and a team.
Which buyers can you deliver to?
Distributors, super stockists and dealers, retailers and kiranas, retail chain warehouses, quick commerce warehouses, marketplace fulfilment centres, factories and institutions. We deliver by part load, full truck or dedicated vehicle, depending on the order.
Can you supply our quick commerce and retail chain purchase orders?
Yes. Each purchase order is picked against the buyer's shelf-life rule, packed and labelled to its specification and delivered to its warehouse inside the appointment slot, with the papers it expects. Quick commerce platforms such as Blinkit now buy stock on purchase orders, and others are moving the same way, so they receive stock much as a retail chain does.
Does our GST registration need to show your warehouse?
Yes. Stock you own that is stored with us must sit at a place of business declared on your GST registration, so our warehouse is added to your registration in that state as an additional place of business. A warehouse in another state needs a GST registration in that state. We give you the warehouse details the amendment needs.
What paperwork goes with each delivery?
Your invoice, or a delivery challan for a stock transfer, with the e-invoice where your turnover requires one. The e-way bill goes with every consignment that needs one, part loads carry a lorry receipt, and retail chains and quick commerce platforms also expect a shipping notice. The signed proof of delivery comes back and is filed against the invoice.
Do you send part loads as well as full trucks?
Yes. Part loads go to distributors and dealers across states, full trucks go to retail chain and quick commerce warehouses and to large distributors, and dedicated vehicles can run your city deliveries. Part loads are charged on the higher of actual and volumetric weight, so the way cartons are packed affects the cost.
What happens when a delivery is short or damaged?
The buyer records any shortage or damage on the proof of delivery or goods receipt note, and we check it against our dispatch record. You get both side by side, so the claim or credit note is settled on facts.
How are returns and expired stock handled?
Returns come back into the same warehouse and are checked before anything else happens. Good stock goes back on the shelf, and damaged or expired stock is kept apart and held for your decision, with a record your accounts team can raise the credit note from.
Can B2B and online orders come from the same stock?
Yes. Case and pallet orders for businesses and single-unit orders for marketplaces and your own website can run from the same inventory, so you do not have to split stock between two warehouses.
Do you work with Tally, Zoho or SAP?
Yes. Our platform connects with Tally, Zoho, SAP and other ERPs, so orders and stock stay in step without being typed in twice.
How is this different from appointing a C&F agent?
A C&F agent holds a brand's stock in one state and dispatches it to that brand's distributors. B2B fulfilment covers every kind of business buyer from the same stock, retail chains, quick commerce and institutions included, each packed and papered to its own rules. We do both, and our
Integrated 3PL page explains how stock points in each state work.
Which cities can you fulfil B2B orders from?
How is B2B fulfilment priced?
Storage is charged on the space or pallets you use, handling on the cases, pallets or tonnes moved, and transport by trip or by weight. Each part is priced separately, so you can see what every order costs before you compare quotes.
